World Political Arena Tutorial 1

About WPA -

World Political Arena is a political based RPG/Simulation game started by cocodtim in June 2009, It takes place in a one world government (known as “the globe” in-game).

There are numerous features in the game, obviously as you would have already guessed, you can become a member of a political party of whose views you agree with, can’t find a party who you agree with? Then start your own once you have the sufficient amount of money.
If being involved hands-on with politics isn’t your thing, and you want to still influence politics, create your own newspaper and spread propaganda for your favourite party

Party Actions -
So your in a party, what now? Well whatever you would like to change on the globe (depending on how much power you have). If you are voted in then your party will be in complete control over the running of The Globe, this is a huge responsibility but you agree to take it if you decide to lead a party, if anything goes wrong within the globe (finance, inactivity etc…) then the chances are you will be blamed.
Hold debates with your opposing parties to convince members that you should be in control of the globe and that they should vote for your party.

Of course, if you are running your own newspaper, you will have to write it on weekly/bi-weekly basis and keep it fresh so people remain interested in your supporting party.

When running the Globe you will be responsible for running the tax system. Which will probably have everybody snapping at you for being to high no matter what you do with it.

When signing up, be sure to post in the welcome forum and state a little about yourself, political views and such, don't worry, were all friendly here Smile.

At the present moment, it is free to start a party.... but only until their are 10, after that it will cost gold (perhaps lot), currently their is four, so if you would like to start your own one right away, take this opportunity by the throat! you might never be able to start another one for free or even cheap, really this is a fantastic chance to get a party up and running while their isn't many and take control of the game rather quickly, almost like cheating !!! Very Happy

If your not a leader of a party but a member, be sure to vote for your own party at every election as just being a member does not guarantee your automatic vote, if you are not a member of any party then the same applies, ALWAYS VOTE.

When running your newspaper, if your not affilated with any party, then try to keep it unbiased, and vice versa.
